(I wrote this a while back and never published it.....oops! He is now 22months and i'll try to update later)
I feel like he has grown sooo much over the past month. Maybe because we are around a newborn again but also because he has!!
He is pushing 30 lbs now and just loving life.
He has started saying short sentences/phrases such as... "read book" "mommy down please", and his vocabulary now includes the word RHINOCERUS. Yes, that's right. This child can say that word but still refuses to say "grammie" or "G-momma" VERY interesting huh?!
He is at such a fun age. He just learned to sing and dance to part of "Ring around the Rosies" and "Old McDonald had a Farm" He is OBSESSED with this puzzle we have which puts together two pieces to form an animal. This has also expanded his noise and knowledge of animals including a camel, parrott, skunk, and leopard. He gets super excited when he finds both pieces and wants to put them together into the box!! He is starting to learn a few colors. Usually he is right but several times wrong too. Blue seems to be the "default" color. He enjoys play dough even though he has tasted it a couple of times!
Of course with this age also comes the pushing of boundaries! And that he has done. We have started time out recently and we are hoping this will put an end to some minor issues =) I suppose time will tell!
